Vooralsnog verwachten we dat de trouwerij en het feest gewoon door kan gaan zoals gepland. Mocht er iets veranderen, dan zullen we dat op deze pagina aangeven.
In het geval dat je een Covid test moet doen in Toledo, kun je deze online boeken via Quiron Salud (link). De test wordt afgenomen in het ziekenhuis in Toledo . Geef duidelijk aan wanneer je vlucht vertrekt zodat je het testresultaat op tijd ontvangt.
Cadeaus
Jullie aanwezigheid wordt erg op prijs gesteld, dus we verwachten geen cadeaus. Mocht je toch iets willen geven, dan zouden we een bijdrage aan onze huwelijksreis op prijsstellen. Deze kun je overmaken naar het rekeningnummer op de uitnodiging.
Vluchten
We gaan er vanuit dat iedereen op eigen gelegenheid naar Spanje reist. Mocht je vragen hebben, laat het dan even weten.
Accommodatie
Het is voor de gasten uit Nederland waarschijnlijk het leukst om in het centrum van Toledo te overnachten, maar het is ook mogelijk om in het centrum van Madrid te overnachten.
Voor de families Kooistra en Sikkema hebben we gezamenlijke acccommodatie geregeld in Toledo. Laat het ons even weten als je hier (tegen kostprijs) gebruik van wilt maken!
We gaan er vanuit dat verder iedereen eigen accommodatie regelt. Mocht je vragen hebben, laat het dan even weten.

Openbaar vervoer van het vliegveld naar Toledo
Vanaf het vliegveld Madrid Barajas kun je met de trein of met de bus naar Toledo reizen. In beide gevallen is het het makkelijkst om vanaf het vliegveld per metro naar het station te reizen. Er zijn twee metrostations, een in Terminal 2 (voor reizigers die aankomen op Terminal 1/2/3) en een in Terminal 4 (voor reizigers die aankomen op Terminal 4). De metro staat overal aangegeven op de borden. Tickets kun je kopen bij het metrostation, hou er rekening mee dat je een ticket koopt met een 'Supplemento Aeropuerto', een vliegveld-supplement bovenop de standaard ticketprijs.
De ALSA bus naar Toledo vertrekt vanaf Plaza Elíptica. Neem metrolijn 8 (roze) naar Nuevos Ministerios, en stap in Nuevos Ministerios over op metrolijn 6 (grijs) naar Laguna. Stap uit op station Plaza Elíptica. Tickets voor de bus kun je kopen bij een automaat op het station, of via internet. Let op dat je de 'directo' bus neemt - er rijden ook stopbussen die 45 minuten langer duren. Voor de bustijden en het kopen van tickets, zie de website van ALSA (link). De bus komt aan op het busstation van Toledo , vanaf waar je naar het centrum van Toledo kunt lopen (~15 min).
De AVANT trein naar Toledo vertrekt vanaf Atocha. Neem metrolijn 8 (roze) naar Nuevos Ministerios, en stap in Nuevos Ministerios over op metrolijn 10 (donkerblauw) naar Puerta del Sur. Stap uit op station Tribunal en stap over op metrolijn 1 (lichtblauw) naar Valdecarros. Stap uit op station Atocha-Renfe. Alternatief kun je ook bus 200 of de Cercanias trein vanaf Terminal 4 nemen. Tickets voor de bus kun je kopen bij een automaat op het station, of via internet. Voor de treintijden en het kopen van tickets, zie de website van Renfe (link). De trein komt aan op het treinstation van Toledo , vanaf waar je naar het centrum van Toledo kunt lopen (~25 min).
Alternatief zijn er op het vliegveld taxi's beschikbaar voor een vast tarief van €30 waarmee je naar het trein-/busstation kunt reizen.

If you have to do a Covid test in Spain, you can book this online via Quiron Salud (link). The test is taken at the hospital in Toledo . Indicate clearly when your flight home departs, in order to receive the test results on time.

Your presence is much appreciated, so we don't expect presents. In case you do want to give a present, we would appreciate a gift toward our honeymoon. Details are included with the invitation.

We advise our guests coming over from the UK to find accommodation in Toledo, but it would also be possible to stay in Madrid and take the bus to Fuensalide and Toledo.

Taxis between the airport and Toledo
We have arranged one taxi from the airport to Toledo on Friday 10 September, and two taxis from Toledo to the airport on Monday 13 September. The departure and arrival times are shown below. Please contact us for more information.
Public transport from the airport to Toledo
From the Madrid Barajas airport you can take the train or bus to Toledo. In both cases it's easiest to take the metro from the airport to the station. There are two metro stations, one in Terminal 2 (for travelers arriving in Terminal 1/2/3) and one in Terminal 4 (for travelers who arrive in Terminal 4). Directions to the metro are shown throughout the airport. Tickets can be bought at the metro station, note that you need a ticket with a 'Supplemento Aeropuerto', a supplement to the standard ticket, required to travel to or from the airport.
De ALSA bus to Toledo departs from Plaza Elíptica. Board metro 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios, at Nuevos Ministerios change to metro 6 (grey) to Laguna. Get off at Plaza Elíptica. Bus tickets can be bought at a machine on the station, of via the internet. Note that you should take the 'directo' bus - there are also stop busses which take 45 minutes longer. For bus times and to buy tickets, see the ALSA website (link). De bus arrives at the bus station of Toledo , from where it's a short walk to the centre of Toledo (~15 min).
De AVANT train to Toledo departs from Atocha. Board metro 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios, at Nuevos Ministerios change to metro 10 (dark blue) to Puerta del Sur. Get off at Tribunal and board metro 1 (light blue) to Valdecarros. Get off at Atocha-Renfe station. Alternatively, bus 200 or the Cercanias train from Terminal 4 can also take you to Atocha. Bus tickets can be bought at a machine on the station, or via internet. For train times and to buy tickets, see the Renfe website (link). De trein arrives at the train station of Toledo , from where it's a walk to the centre of Toledo (~25 min).
Alternatively, taxis are available on at the airport which will bring you to the train or bus station for a fixed fee of €30.
